Confidence and competitiveness in the transport and logistics sector

Elements such as customer service, the needs of people with reduced mobility, information, comfort, environmental protection, the safety of passengers, employees, equipment and goods, are now essential for passengers and customers. AENOR offers transport-related entities a wide range of certifications that help to give confidence to their customers and support their competitiveness.

AENOR is the ally of operators in the Passenger and Freight Transport sector, from the metro to the bus, including railways, planes, ships, trams and funiculars. AENOR's certification is the most recognised and, therefore, the one that inspires the greatest confidence among all groups.

Within the Transport and Logistics sector, each area presents specific challenges in terms of quality, safety, sustainability, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. For this reason, AENOR structures its certification solutions around different subsectors of activity: aerospace, maritime, land or logistics. This organisation makes it possible to identify more clearly the certifications and schemes applicable to each type of operator, making it easier for companies to improve their processes, manage risks and strengthen the trust of customers, users, administrations and other stakeholders.
  • Certifications for the logistics sector

The logistics sector is a strategic component in the comprehensive management of the supply chain, covering activities such as warehousing, distribution, intermodal transport, inventory management, order preparation and value-added services. In a globalized and highly competitive environment, logistics companies must guarantee operational efficiency, product traceability, operational safety, and the sustainability of their processes.

Certification in logistics and supply chain allows organizations to improve the quality of their services, optimize resources, reduce costs and strengthen the trust of customers and partners. AENOR accompanies logistics operators, distribution platforms, 3PL companies and organisations linked to national and international trade in the implementation of management systems that promote operational excellence and continuous improvement.

This approach also makes it easier to adapt to key industry trends, such as digitalization, automation, and sustainable logistics, while improving search engine rankings for key terms related to logistics, supply chain, and distribution.

  • Aerospace Certifications

The aerospace sector, which integrates aviation, aerospace and defense activities, is characterized by operating in highly regulated environments where safety, quality and traceability are critical factors. The organizations that are part of this industry. Aircraft manufacturers, component suppliers, maintenance companies (MROs), engineering and specialized services, must ensure compliance with demanding international standards in all phases of the product life cycle, from design to operation and maintenance.

AENOR accompanies organisations in their aerospace certification processes, helping them to strengthen their position in global markets, improve the efficiency of their supply chain and increase the confidence of customers, partners and regulatory bodies.

The integration of this sector within the Transport and Logistics area makes it possible to give visibility to specific solutions for the aeronautical and defence industry, as well as to group other schemes related to quality, operational safety and excellence in critical processes.

  • Certifications for the maritime sector

The maritime sector plays a key role in the international transport of goods and in the functioning of the global economy, being responsible for much of the world's trade. Organisations operating in this field, such as shipping companies, port operators, maritime terminals, freight forwarders and logistics service providers, must adapt to an increasingly demanding environment in terms of sustainability, energy efficiency, operational safety and compliance with international regulations.

Certification in maritime transport and port logistics allows these companies to demonstrate their commitment to the quality of service, the protection of the marine environment and the effective management of their operations. AENOR offers certification solutions adapted to the needs of the maritime sector, supporting organisations in the implementation of management systems that optimise processes, reduce risks and improve competitiveness.
