AENOR, 40 years building trust.

We celebrate 40 years by pointing out, before all its stakeholders, organizations that are truly committed to things well done. Discover here all the videos, actions and initiatives that mark this special anniversary.

A year to celebrate

This year, AENOR celebrates 40 years of accompanying organisations and professionals in their commitment to quality, trust and values. Four decades in which thousands of people and entities, of all sizes and sectors, have made it possible for AENOR to consolidate itself as a business benchmark  and a key ally in building a more prepared, safe and sustainable society.

To commemorate this milestone, we have created this space, where we bring together all the initiatives, actions and special content that we are carrying out throughout the year. A place to celebrate our history, to recognize you and our work, which has made it possible to share the vision towards the future we are building together.

Business and institutional leaders are generous enough to share their vision of what AENOR means for companies and society, the value of trust and commitment to good practices as the key to competitiveness.

Construction

With a contribution to the national GDP of more than 5%, this sector is a fundamental driver for the Spanish economy. Since our origins, we have been supporting them to boost their competitiveness. First with the N Brand, and later with the Sustainable N Brand, which responds to the structural transformation that the sector has been facing and which involves an ESG approach. In this line, we have developed solutions such as Sustainable Building, Sustainability in Building and Civil Works, and Industrialized Construction.

Compliance and Corporate Governance

We have been working for decades on solutions that support good practices of organizations in the field of good governance, such as thecertificates of criminal compliance management system, tax, free competition or socio-labor matters and anti-bribery management. And we continue to respond to new challenges and needs by launching pioneering certification solutions in corporate governance on the market, such as the Good Corporate Governance Index, or Good Governance and Good Governance.

Food, Consumption and Prevention

AENOR responds to new challenges to guarantee safety. In the agri-food sector, it has widely implemented certifications. But also with others that reinforce safety and commitment to the consumer. Among them, the Consumer Highlighted Product and Periodically Controlled certificates stand out, which recognize transparency, rigor and continuous commitment to food safety. In terms of occupational health and safety, it is worth highlighting certificates such as Psychosocial Risk Management, which contemplate the risks associated with current work environments.

Social footprint

Society demands organizations with social  leadership that is not only based on efficiency, but on a purpose, values and commitments. At AENOR we continue to make progress with different solutions in the field of equality and social sustainability, from Gender Equality, to solutions such as Diversity and Inclusion, Verified Pay Gap or Safe Environments for Women.  Today we are taking a pioneering step with Transformative Female Leadership, which recognises leadership with verifiable impact and reinforces social trust.

Digitalization and AI

Increasing digitalisation requires protecting critical infrastructures and ensuring that artificial intelligence acts responsibly, essential areas for continuity of services and social trust. At AENOR we strengthen the capacity of organisations to face risks through its industrial cybersecurity solutions, and promotes responsible technological development through its Responsible AI Ecosystem. With these actions, it contributes to consolidating a safer, clearer and more inclusive digital ecosystem for both entities and society as a whole.
