AENOR is committed to the satisfaction of its professionals, customers and suppliers through several initiatives:

  • We add value through people. That is why there is continuous improvement in internal communication channels, always ensuring transparency in communications between our professionals.  

  • Customer satisfaction: communication and privacy of customers are taken care of, and their problems are solved thanks to a Quality Management System.

  • Relationship with Suppliers: AENOR maintains a code of conduct to maintain optimal relations with suppliers, respecting the Purchasing and Subcontracting Policy to ensure compliance with basic criteria on human rights, labour rights and occupational health and safety between suppliers and contractors.

At AENOR we work on transformation and improvement projects in an integrated way with organisations, promoting them as benchmark entities in the ESG (Environmental, Social and Good Governance) field, key to the development of competitiveness. The following are sought:

Society

AENOR certifies organisations in their implementation of Social Responsibility policies, including IQNet SR10, with more than 60 organisations certified in more than 15 countries; and more than 50 Universal Accessibility certifications.

Third sector initiatives are also supported, with activities such as those led by the Spanish Association Against Cancer; Food Banks or the Transfusion Center of the Community of Madrid. The AENOR Choir also develops a programme of Solidarity Concerts.

Environment

AENOR is committed to fully integrating the environmental dimension and respect for the natural environment both in its actions and in those of its customers. For this reason, we have a wide catalog of certifications related to the environment. AENOR has issued more than 9,000 certificates and validations; among which are, among others, those of Environmental Management Systems, Carbon Footprint, Ecodesign and Energy Management. Request our Quality and Environment Policy.
 

Good corporate practices

We develop tools that help organisations manage good corporate practices, such as Iuriscert, according to UNE 19601. This system establishes and specifies the requirements of a management system to prevent the commission of acts constituting crimes that may be committed under the cover of the legal entity, to disseminate the culture of prevention and compliance in the organization.

At AENOR we have deployed the Crime Prevention and Anti-Fraud System. This system is integrated, among other points, by the Code of Ethics, the Regulation of the System for the Prevention of Crime and the Fight against Fraud, the map of criminal risks and the internal investigation system and internal complaints protocol.

We take care of the code of conduct to maintain an optimal relationship with our suppliers; in addition to respecting the Purchasing and Subcontracting Policy to promote compliance with basic criteria in human and labor rights, as well as in occupational health and safety among suppliers and contractors.

Accreditations and recognitions

Accreditation is the formal recognition of the independence and technical capacity of a conformity assessment body to carry out its work in accordance with internationally recognised requirements.
