AENOR has more than 230 accreditations, recognitions, agreements and appointments for certification, validation, verification, inspection and testing activities, granted by more than 40 national and international organisations. Its maintenance involves more than 300 annual external audit days.

Rigor in the procedures

AENOR has legal personality and full capacity to fulfil its purposes in accordance with current regulations, Statutes and regulations. 


It has a process-based Quality Management System, in accordance with international standards such as ISO/IEC 17021-1 and ISO/IEC 17065. It has established procedures to manage certification and inspection, as well as the use and control of licenses, certificates and marks of conformity.

Great professional body

It has competent personnel for all its activities, complying with international and regulatory requirements. 


It requires all personnel, internal or external, to commit to confidentiality, independence and impartiality in the evaluation processes.
 

New accreditations obtained:

  • Medical Device Management Systems. AENOR obtains ENAC accreditation for the certification of Medical Device Management Systems in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 13485:2018 standard. April 2024

  • Energy Savings Certificate System (EAC).  AENOR obtains ENAC accreditation as a verification body for the Energy Savings Certificates (EAC) system for standardised (July 2024) and singular actions. October 2024

  • Inspection against customer specifications. AENOR obtains ENAC accreditation for inspection against customer specifications. November 2024

  • BRCGS Consumer Products Certified. AENOR extends its scope of accreditation for the certification of non-food products in accordance with the BRCGS Consumer Products standard. April 2025
