Certification of commitment to the elderly

Commitment to older people improves their experience and access to services, promoting inclusion and quality of life, aligned with the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The "Commitment to the elderly" certification is a solution based on the actions that each organization carries out to improve the experience of its senior customers and that makes visible and promotes the importance of having quality and inclusive services, where "no one is left behind", the motto of the 2030 Agenda.

It is a solution framed in the Trust Platform "Design inclusive solutions" based on the actions that each organization decides to carry out to improve the experience of use and access to its services for the elderly. And it does so through the evaluation of the commitments made in different areas, always within the framework of internal management that allows for adequate monitoring of each of them.

To this end, they must use as a comparative framework the AENOR Model of an organisation committed to the elderly, as well as the sectoral and institutional reference guides/protocols that exist in this regard, including the legislative framework, if any.

This AENOR Model represents a comprehensive approach to the management by organisations of the measures implemented to improve care and support for the elderly in services such as banking, financial or insurance. Their evaluation will be carried out for all channels of contact with the elderly person.

The organisation's commitments to age-inclusive care must be quantitative and subject to periodic monitoring.

The Committed Age-Friendly Organisation Model enables organisations, of any size and sector, within their scope of influence, to provide care/services appropriate to the needs of older people and to exercise a commitment to society in a responsible manner, especially for the inclusion of the elderly.

Quality Assurance in Services for the Elderly

The certification ensures inclusive and accessible services for the elderly, promoting equality, respect and social responsibility in organizations.
