History of AENOR

AENOR's origins date back to 1986, with the creation of the Spanish Association for Standardisation, UNE, the entity legally responsible for the development of standardisation in Spain. Since then, AENOR has evolved constantly, adapting to the needs of society.

AENOR currently has more than 200 accreditations, recognitions, agreements and appointments for certification, validation, verification, inspection and testing activities, granted by different national and international entities.

Where are we?

AENOR is a global entity that already operates in 87 countries. In Spain, it has 17 offices in all the Autonomous Communities with its own auditors and a permanent presence in 12 other countries, mainly in Latin America and Europe.
