DNSH Validation

In a context where technical reliability and transparency are essential, AENOR helps projects that want to apply for funding from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (RTRP) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to be presented with the maximum guarantee.

Boost your RTRP projects with AENOR's guarantee and technical solvency

All investments executed in the National Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (RTRP), as well as projects financed by ERDF Funds, in application of European legislation, must comply with the principle of "do no significant harm" (or DNSH principle) to the environmental objectives set out in the Taxonomy Regulation.

This implies that, as part of the evaluation of aid applications, the managing entity may require applicants to be validated by an entity accredited by ENAC, such as AENOR, which demonstrates such compliance.

AENOR provides technical rigour, traceability and trust by validating compliance with the DNSH (Do No Significant Harm) principle, allowing our clients' projects to prove to the Administration that they comply with the requirements of the calls for R+D, innovation or investment financed both within the framework of the RTRP and the ERDF Fund. and thus increasing their guarantees of access to the subsidy.

How do we support you in complying with the DNSH principle ?

AENOR accompanies you in the validation of the DNSH principle, a key requirement to access funding for different calls. Our job is to independently review your project documentation to ensure that it identifies its potential environmental impacts and demonstrates that it does not cause significant harm to the environment.

DNSH Validation

DNSH validation ensures that your project complies with the principle of not causing significant harm to the environment.

AENOR, which has ENAC accreditation No. 3/VV004, carries out DNSH validation in projects financed by PRTR or ERDF, including those managed by CDTI, as well as in different calls within the framework of the RTRP within the accredited scope. This solution enables organisations to: ensure that the applicant organisation's self-assessment is technically sound, reasonable, and sufficiently and appropriately justified.

In certain calls, such as the PERTE project for Industrial Decarbonisation, specific reports are also required to verify and validate emissions and consumption. AENOR provides the necessary independent technical assessment.

AENOR: trust, solvency and rigour to promote your projects linked to the RTRP.

With more than 40 years of experience, we help governments to support investments with real and verifiable impact.
