TELCO Standards: Raising the Quality of Telecom Training
With the aim of minimising the risks to workers in the telecommunications sector (TELCO), the Prevention Services of a representative group of telecommunications operators and their suppliers have defined training standards for the training of workers, and a protocol for the certification of the training centres that provide them.
AENOR is approved by the TELCO Group for the provision of these certification services, which will be required from July 2018, for all training centres that are going to carry out training in prevention and safety at work aimed at workers who provide services to telecommunications companies (TELCO Group). Any training received by workers after that date will require that it be carried out in one of the certified centres to be considered valid by the TELCO group of companies.
