Solutions that promote environmentally sustainable construction
On the other hand, the CE marking acts as a passport that allows the free movement in the European Economic Area of the subject products, and within this framework, AENOR is notified to the European Commission by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism to act as a Notified Body in the tasks of evaluating the performance of products included in the scope of application of EU Regulation 305/2011 on construction products (CPR).
These integrated AENOR solutions significantly add to sustainable construction and rehabilitation, aligning with global sustainability objectives.
These construction certifications are a benchmark in the sustainable construction sector, contributing extraordinarily to quality, environmental health, sustainability and innovation in construction.
We highlight AENOR's BIM (Building Information Modeling) Certification, which ensures the implementation of advanced digital methodologies in the management of construction projects, improving efficiency and reducing errors throughout the project's life cycle and, therefore, also contributing to sustainability. Information Management certification when using BIM, in accordance with the standard UNE-EN ISO 19650-3, is a working methodology for the creation and management of a project that, in a collaborative way, centralises all the information generated by the agents participating in the project cycle. the life of the asset; from BIM for Asset Development (UNE-EN ISO19650-1;UNE-EN ISO19650-2) to BIM for Asset Operation (UNE-EN ISO 19650-1;UNE-EN ISO 19650-3).
The Voluntary Assessment of Technical Control Bodies (OCT), which can be integrated into the certification scheme ISO 9001, it assesses the technical competence, independence, experience and available resources of the Technical Control Bodies (TCOs) that request it voluntarily, who will obtain a report that will serve as a letter of introduction for promoters and insurance companies.
Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) provide a verifiable environmental profile of products, based on a life cycle analysis in accordance with ISO 14025, facilitating informed and sustainable decision-making.
In the electricity sector, AENOR certifies compliance with legislation and contributes to the stability of the electricity system, operating procedures and requirements for responding to voltage dips in wind and photovoltaic installations. In addition, it issues CE certificates for elevators, lifting equipment, machines, gas appliances, etc.
