APPLICATION
The AENOR Mark is voluntary. When a company is interested in having AENOR certify its product, it submits an application, which includes both company information and characteristics of the products and processes for which it is requesting certification.
To begin the AENOR N Mark certification of a product, you must send us your completed application for evaluation and prior review.

AUDIT, INSPECTION AND TESTING
a) Audit of the quality management system in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 9001 standard, in particular, on the processes directly related to production.
b) Inspection of the manufacturer's production control to ensure the product complies with the standard requirements.
c) Sampling to perform the tests defined in the standards in the accredited laboratory accepted by AENOR.
d) The laboratory performs the tests and submits its report to AENOR.

CONCESSION
With all the information on the activities carried out, the Technical Certification Committee (independent body made up of all interested parties: manufacturers, Administration, users, control entities and AENOR) or failing that, the technical services of AENOR propose the granting of the Mark or request that some of the activities be repeated because they are considered non-compliant.

FOLLOW-UP
Once the Certificate is granted, the process continues with the necessary follow-up activities to maintain it. Audits, inspections, sampling, and testing are carried out annually (or more frequently, depending on the certified product). The results are evaluated each year by the Certification Technical Committee or by AENOR's technical services, which decide whether or not to maintain the Mark.
