Quality and safety
AENOR certification guarantees quality and safety in international projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, trust and efficiency in processes.
AENOR is a benchmark in projects related to sanitary and phytosanitary measures, quality and sustainability
AENOR is a leader in projects related to sanitary and phytosanitary measures, quality, and sustainability. International trade is regulated by international treaties on technical barriers to trade and sanitary and phytosanitary measures. Furthermore, the tripartite body formed by the WHO, FAO, Codex, OIE, and IPPC establishes standards for the safe exchange of food, plants, and animals.
European Union standards are based on these international principles. AENOR promotes them through the international projects in which it participates, disseminating best practices based on experience and practical application, and supporting the development and sustainability of our trading partners' systems both in the EU and in other regions of the world.
Our areas of expertise
Since its inception, AENOR has a long and distinguished track record of expertise in the field of quality and safety, building trust across a wide range of areas. These include product conformity assessment according to safety criteria, as well as all the necessary elements at the national/regional level to ensure systems that support and enhance productive development. This is achieved through the development of all the technical and verification elements required to compete on a level playing field internationally (quality infrastructure).
Likewise, consumer protection is the main element of several projects managed against agri-food fraud and against fraud in services and products, produced both in physical and virtual environments.
AENOR has developed a successful project management methodology based on our ability to adapt and innovate, and the continuous improvement of all our processes to ensure the best performance and attention to the needs of our clients.
