Endesa, the first company with five AENOR Compliance certifications
Endesa has become the first company in Spain and internationally to obtain five AENOR Compliance certifications, consolidating a transversal compliance model integrated throughout its organisation and value chain. This recognition reinforces its commitment to ethics, transparency and good governance.
Endesa's compliance system covers key areas such as criminal and anti-bribery compliance, taxation, antitrust and whistleblower protection in a coordinated manner. This comprehensive model incorporates prevention, control and continuous improvement mechanisms, supported by a governance structure with specialized committees and oversight by the board of directors.
The company has the UNE 19601, UNE-ISO 37001, UNE 19602, UNE 19603 and ISO 37002 certifications, which guarantee the solidity and maturity of its system. In addition, its model has been recognised as a benchmark among IBEX 35 companies, standing out for its transparency and its ability to go beyond the required standards.
The compliance culture is supported by continuous training – with more than 6,500 employees trained by 2025 – internal awareness and the extension of the model to suppliers and stakeholders.
