Resumen:
This document specifies methods for quantifying the effects of car body motions on ride comfort for passengers and vehicle assessment with respect to ride comfort. The effect considered is discomfort, associated with relatively low levels of acceleration and roll velocity. The scope of the standard is limited to public railway services; the standard includes railway vehicles designed for carrying passengers travelling on railway lines, including secondary and suburban lines. However, this standard can be used as a guide for other railway vehicles, for example locomotives, metros, trams, etc.
