Resumen:
This European Standard specifies requirements and test methods for oil lamps used for decorative purposes in households, in restaurants, in recreational facilities and in similar areas. The standard does not apply to oil lamps intended to be the primary source of light and for industrial purposes (e.g. securing of roadbuilding sites). The purpose of the standard is to minimise the risk of accidental poisoning of small children up to 3 years of age by limiting the accessibility of the lamp oil.
