Resumen:
This standard comprises Specifications for rotors with rigid behaviour in relation to unbalance tolerances, the necessary number of balancing planes, and procedures for verification of the unbalance. Additionally, recommendations are given for the balance grade required (Balance quality grade G) associated to the type of machinery and its highest operating speed. Finally, acceptance criteria for checking the residual unbalance are stated. Rotors with flexible behaviour, however, are not covered.
