This International Standard specifies requirements for the Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) Outside Plant (OSP) Physical (PHY) Layer Specification. This specification is part of the suite of specifications developed to support the design and implementation of interoperable management systems for evolving HFC cable networks.
Diese Internationale Norm legt zur Zustandsüberwachung des Leitungsnetzes (OSP) von Hybrid-Faser-Koax-Netzen (HFC) Anforderungen an die Bitübertragungsschicht (PHY) fest. Diese Festlegung ist Teil einer Reihe von Festlegungen für entstehende HFC-Kabelnetze zur Unterstützung von Entwurf und Implementierung dialogfähiger Managementsysteme.
