Resumen:
This European Standard specifies a method to determine the amounts of dimethylfumarate in footwear materials silica bags and other commodities.. It applies to all parts of the footwear except metal parts.Currently DMFU is prohibited in biocidal product as per as Directive 98/8/EC. This substance shall be used with precaution to avoid any heath problem in the chemistry laboratory.More recently, The EU Comission Decision 2009/251 requiring Member States to ensure that products containing the biocide DMFU are not placed or made available on the market into the European Union. The ban of DMFU as laid down in Decision 2009/251 establishes a maximum concentration of DMFU in products of 0.1 mg/kg.
