Standard Specification for Nickel-Chromium-Silicon Alloy Billets and Bars

Abstract:

This specification covers wrought heat-resisting alloy UNS N08330 in the form of billets and bars only for reforging. The material shall undergo chemical and product analysis and conform to the requirements as to chemical composition specified for carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, chromium, nickel, copper, lead, tin, and iron.

Scope:

1.1 This specification covers wrought heat-resisting alloy UNS N08330 in the form of billets and bars only for reforging.

1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.

1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
