Bajo Tuluá Minor Hydroelectric Power Plant
The purpose of this project is to build a Hydroelectric Power Plant, with a total installed capacity of 19.84 MW, in the Tuluá River in the department of the Cauca Valley, municipalities of Tuluá, Buga and San Pedro. The water flows through the river points 1,472 and 1,250 metres above sea level. The engine house (two Francis turbines) is located in the elevation 1,250, above the mouth of the ravine of La Esmeralda, district of La Esmeralda, borough of La Esmeralda in the municipality of San Pedro. The electrical energy distribution line is rated at 34.5 KV and it is connected to the sub-station of Tuluá.
